Charles Edmund Hosler (Age 953-1039) was the father of William Hosler, and grandfather of Helena. The grandson of Goku Jr., he was the 4th great-grandson of Goku, making him 1/64th Saiyan. Charles started the Hosler clan's baseball legacy, as he would be umpire of the Supreme City Jets and an avid baseball enthusiast his whole life.
The son of plumber Marck, he was eldest grandson of legendary Earth politician Goku Jr, who died when he was 11. He enamored him as a child and wanted to be like him. However, when Charles was a young boy at a baseball game with his mother, he accidentally caught a baseball during a play. When he held it, he felt powerful. He began an avid love of the sport, going on to play in it in school and college, but never went pro. In 985, the same year his eldest son William was born, Charles became the umpire for the Supreme City Jets--the biggest league on Earth. He would retire in 1023 at age 70 but continue his mass collection of baseball cards, which would later be passed down after his death in 1039.
